BREAK

Album design

**********************************************************************************

HOMEWORK for both classes:

Choose a band/album where you can obtain the following material:

1. The band name. The names of the band members and what they play.

2. A few paragraphs of marketing copy for the back cover. This text might promote the band or this album, or it might be the history of the band if it's interesting, or it might be an interview snippet, or it might be a write up of the music which influenced the sound of the band.

3. A 30 second sound byte of their music to share with your feedback groups.

4. Click here to download this illustrator dieline and place it into a 30" x 30" Indesign file.

For next week:

1. Collect the material needed (stated above: steps 1-4)
2. Create a style board for your album.
4. Click here to download the dieline and place it into a 30" x 30" Indesign document.

Bring everything in next week.
